A Statement, Not an Appology

Democracy is a form of government in which all eligible citizens have an equal say in the decisions that affect their lives. Democracy allows eligible citizens to participate equally—either directly or through elected representatives—in the proposal, development, and creation of laws. It encompasses social, economic and cultural conditions that enable the free and equal practice of political self-determination.

Uncertainty

Uncertainty can, in fact, be a great gift, because it can cause us to re-think our established, fixed way of seeing things, and help the transformation from stagnation to movement; from limitation to expansion. This process leads to change and growth, which is the basis of all life. Without change and growth, our mind, body, emotions, and spirit begin to atrophy, solidify, and decay.

Role models, friends and parents.

Kevin and Kathy happen to be all three. Yesterday marked 40 years of marriage for two of the most important people in my life. The person I am today is a direct reflection on their over 40 years of devotion to each other. They compliment each other in aspect of life. They provide an unwavering positive view of the world they have created for themselves and our family. No amount of words can accurately depict how special they both are.

My sisters words however, come as close as I could ask for. http://www.nottobrag.net/

A storm and the Arch. I was in St. Louis over the weekend. Lightening storm rolled through during a concert under the Arch. Closest we could get to catching it.
